Beverly-Grant has been heavily involved with the Asheville Art Museum for over twelve years beginning in 2005. Beverly-Grant was selected originally to furnish pre-construction services consisting of schematic budgets, design development budgets, scheduling, logistics and constructability given its location in the center of downtown Asheville. Through this process Beverly-Grant developed the owner’s trust and confidence and was ultimately selected as the Construction Manager for this legacy project. The actual construction began in April of 2017 and substantial completion was reaching in November 2019. Beverly-Grant was honored to be selected for this project and has risen to the challenge of working with the adjacent property owners and complex logistics of its location in the heart of downtown. With no storage or laydown area, we developed and implemented a comprehensive logistics and construction plan in order to construct this project with little or no disruption to the downtown area while it was under construction.
