Holiday Inn Biltmore East, a 65,000 square foot, full-service property with 111 rooms, was completely renovated over a twenty-four month period. The multi-phased project included an all new timber framed porte-cochère, parking lot, waterfall, landscape lighting, lobby, restaurant and bar, convention space, fitness center, outdoor pool, common spaces, and guest rooms. John Fisher (Fisher Architects) and local interior designer Lizzy Summerlin (LS Interior Design) worked to incorporate the newest Holiday Inn H4 Design standards while maintaining the custom, unique, and mountain concept guests have always favored about this property. Local artwork, furniture, and design makes this hotel a standout from the rest. The hotel was renovated while occupied with only a sixty day total closure period.

In 2017, the Holiday Inn Biltmore East won the Torchbearer Award for quality and service, one of eleven Holiday Inns in North America out of 722 total to win. Additionally, in Q1 2018 the Holiday Inn Biltmore East ranked #1 out of 722 Holiday Inns for customer satisfaction. Holiday Inn attributes these successes to not only the outstanding management team in place in Asheville, but also to the quality renovation services by Beverly-Grant.
